As you have closed comments on the piece concerned, we are publishing this here for the records.
Here is another evidential comment, prompted by John Gray’s second taunt to us. We are doing this for the wider appreciation of some telling facts by all your ethically minded readers and visitors.
We are obliged in ethics to complete the evidential comment on John Grays’s contribution so far.
If you look at the photo that John Gray is still running online, you will see a number of faces in it that are being packaged as backers of Abbas Uddin ‘Helal’ [or ‘Helal Uddin’ ‘Abbas’ as the person in question prefers these days].
A few of those same faces have appeared also at photo calls or events organised by backers of Lutfur Rahman. We have never said that we possess sworn affidavits to go with every single item on a photo. We said if John Gray persisted in having an abusive exchange then we would provide evidence. Which is a different matter altogether. On the specific picture, you will see Jim Fitzpatrick [the MP] among the people apparently backing Abbas Uddin ‘Helal’.
It is the same Jim Fitzpatrick who was one of the three ENDORSERS of Lutfur on 14 September 2010 at the Troxy. As we reported on that same day, Jim Fitzpatrick appeared on screen along with Ken Livingstone and Keith Vaz as paying glowing tributes to Lutfur Ragman and naming him as the Labour Party’s official candidate.
Next to Jim Fitzpatrick is a semi-visible face of a known supporter of the ‘Labour Party’ in Tower Hamlets. He was very much present at the Troxy on 14 September 2010 when Jim Fitzpatrick made the appearance on screen endorsing Lutfur. There are not dozens but hundreds of people in Tower Hamlets who have been saying that they back more than one person. We are OPPOSED to the whole elected mayor thing altogether. And the reason? Evidence such as the one we have here elaborated on.
As the ‘local’ “East London Advertiser” has acknowledged, the people in Tower Hamlets need for sense to prevail and for the bureaucracy in place for electoral events to “SCRAP THIS TAIUNTED BALLOT”. Not only are there raging allegations against candidates, there are even more serious allegations against a major Political Party which almost assumes that it OWNS the mayoral powers and most significantly the “Olympic £1Billion” that is set to come to “us” via that elected mayor contrivance!
Read the Christine Shawcroft blog and reassure yourself of the fact that to date and so far as we are reasonably aware, Harriet Harman [Labour Party Deputy Leader and NEC 'mover and shaker’] has neither publicly legally challenged Christine Shawcroft’s version nor has a single recognisable legal action process claim has been issued against anyone amounting to a challenge to the Shawcroft publication concerned.
There is a great deal more solid evidence waiting to be triggered off by one ‘event’ or another [as Harold Macmillan would reportedly have put it had he been anywhere near the Commercial STREET where the Toynbee Hall, serving as a much needed resort address for John Profumo is located!]. Also seen at the Troxy event [in the Commercial ROAD] on 14 September 2010 were Bill Turner, Anna Lynch, and Shahed Ali.
One of their more topical colleagues, Siraj Islam was in fact given an apparently VIP seat sharing the same table as the father of Lutfur Rahman himself! The BHANGEELAAR! Campaign refused to either eat or drink at the Troxy do, telling Lutfur Rahman [and separately a number of other known members of the local community who had requested our campaign members to join in] that we did not know who had paid for the meals.
