"You have published a 'fact check' that is highly misleading about Council propaganda outlets.
And you appear unaware of the reports about Tower Hamlets Council.
That your news programme has carried only in the past 8 days asserting de facto that the Council has gone under a different constitutional control. Tower Hamlets is "not a Labour controlled Authority". The truth about the propaganda sheets and the so-called real newspapers in the “local communities” is that those newspapers in the main have failed to justify their claim to local relevance because they have increasingly descended into irrelevance by being as anodyne and as willing to peddle propaganda of their own and fakery about the local communities as are packaged in the grotesquely unaccountable Council-controlled outfits whose focus is on telling untruths for the controlling clique.
So what is the answer?
Not Eric Pickles for sure.
Democratic vigour and universally recognisable ethical rigour manifestly are badly needed. And instead of pleading for help from the Office of Fair Trading [which is what the “East London Advertiser” did] these ‘real newspapers’ must begin to show they respect and recognise the people in the communities. Let them start being complaining organs and the voices of the people.
Let them shout out loud against the daily scandals that every single Council commits against more than one person in their own community. This is the way to shut the Council Pradvdas up and to also shut them down!"
