BHANGEELAAR! Response to Ken Livingstone's banality about Tower Hamlets, as reported by the "Guardian" in its 'Dave Hill London Blog'.
Part 1 of the Bhangeelaar! Response at 1558 Hrs GMT [1658 Hrs UK time] Friday 01 October 2010.
If what Dave Hill has published on his Blog this afternoon is the TRUE AND THE SUBSTANTIVE VERSION of Ken Livingstone’s claimed statement about Tower Hamlets in the context of the alleged election about an allegedly executive mayor in the name of the people of Tower hamlets then any objective observer of all the facts of the past NINE months would have no alternative but to conclude that Ken Livingstone needs to retire. Right away!
Why?
Because Ken Livingstone, on that showing, has lost the central ingredient of what he could previously claim to be his selling point to an electorate: his ability and willingness [as HE would claim] to tell it as it is! In his statement as retailed by the Dave Hill Blog on the Guardian, Ken Livingstone comes across as being ignorant of the key dynamic that has been at work in relation to the entire episode featuring the unrolling aspects of what is being touted by the peddlers as “the unique problem associated with the particular political demography” in and of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Elements that are at work to date as appearing to be occupying the upper ground are demonstrably similar to the undisguised racists of the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s.
