Among the serious problems faced by ordinary people in Tower Hamlets is of course the low level of economic security. This needs to be understood in the context of the criminally irresponsible propaganda about Tower Hamlets community being among the ‘in’ areas of Britain that is promoted by the ‘East End Lies’ and similar outfits operated by the unaccountable, the undemocratic and the decidedly ANTI-democratic controlling clique on the local Tower Hamlets Borough Council.
Such economic insecurities as have been suffered by ordinary people in the East London borough are going to get worse by the day under both the CONDEM regime of CLEGGERON infamy and also under the [‘planned’ and] contrived revamp of the logos of the ‘London Borough of Tower Hamlets Council’ in the weeks and months to come.
Add to those the other criminally irresponsible conduct promoted again by the same controlling clique that has been patronising the ethnicity-linked ‘meeja’. It is grossly inaccurate to describe the ethnicity-linked outfits as ordinary media.
Yet the collection of brazenly corrupt and corrupting propaganda ‘titles’ and ‘channels’ that has come into being by using [mostly ABUSING as demonstrated] the facts including the overly-undemocratised demographic composition of the East London area is being promoted by Tower Hamlets Council’s controlling clique in a way that would suggest to monolingual and mono-cultural ‘observers’ that these propaganda titles and channels are legitimate journalistic units.
Like most of the bogus colleges that have been foisted over Tower Hamlets with the active connivance of the UK Central Government bureaucracies allegedly controlling and supervising these ‘colleges’, the bogus ethnicity linked media has been corrupting the community and undermining the universal standards of ethics, morality and accountability at the expense of the local ordinary people.
The consequences are too obvious and too unacceptable to ordinary people who actually have to live in Tower Hamlets - and maintain a conscience.
This is not helped by the FACT that such overly praised [!!!! Indeed] figures as the ‘re-elected’ 'Tower Hamlets' MP Jim Fitzpatrick [who represents one of the two Parliamentary constituencies corresponding to the London Borough of Tower Hamlets] who keep being given slots and spots at the slightest excuse regardless of the interminable contradictions in their stances on what are serious issues and decisions that affect the wellbeing and welfare and rights of the ordinary people in Tower Hamlets.
So what has ‘MP’ Mr Jim Fitzpatrick been up to in effectively aiding the undermining of the peoples’ democratic say over the local Council?
It feels like only yesterday that ‘MP' Mr Jim Fitzpatrick was a man of principle over the matter of an elected mayor in the name of the people of Tower Hamlets.
In fact he made several statements in which he uttered words of derision against those who were calling for an elected mayor system in the borough.
In one – which we have already recounted this week – ‘MP’ Mr Jim Fitzpatrick spoke about the mind and the intentions of his ‘former’ ‘rival’ George Galloway. He accused Mr Galloway of a plot to create a bolthole for himself.
The ‘bolt-hole’ was to be the office of the elected mayor that Jim Fitzpatrick claimed George Galloway would seek after losing the contest to become the MP for Poplar and Limehouse [at the then yet to be held election on 6 May 2010].
And the same ‘MP’ Jim Fitzpatrick went on to appear at a ‘No to a directly elected mayor’ ‘ Campaign’ platform staged at the Brady Centre, Hanbury Street, off Brick Lane London E1.
It is to be recalled for new visitors and readers of this BHANGEELAAR! Commentary – that the Brady Centre had been the venue of the ‘launch’ of the ‘YES’ campaign on 6 February 2010 when the likes of … yes… George Galloway spoke their intentions and endorsements.
One participant in that launch, Keith Vaz, ‘MP’ from the ‘local’ East London [NOT!] seat of Leicester… loudly spoke his endorsement of ‘Lutfur Rahman as the best person to become the first directly elected mayor of Tower Hamlets’.
What amazing secrets does Mr Keith Vaz know about the ordinary people and our needs in Tower Hamlets!!!!
He travelled all the way from his ‘seat’ to liberate the people of Tower Hamlets from our own experiences!
And he did not declare his VERDICT FOR an individual about whom he had neither sought the ordinary people’s comments nor did he show any interest in hearing the ordinary peoples’ views.
Against those facts, ‘MP’ Mr Jim Fitzpatrick’s appearance at the Brady Centre was a very significant occasion which he could have used to set out his democratic agenda for the people of Tower Hamlets under a less autocratic Cabinet system.
Did he do that?
We shall report on that and then ask Mr Fitzpatrick: Are you familiar with the concept of principle as ordinarily understood? If you are then cite an instance of universally understood uncorrupted principle that you have shown familiarity with.
