AADHIKARonline asking for meeting with Cllrs Golds and Abbas, separately or jointly, to answer AADHIKAROnline Questions that are most urgent as we are preparing the final section of the detailed report as based on the statements and claims made about the Tower Hamlets Council and related legal and constitutional and democratic issues by both Councillor Peter Golds and Councillor Abbas Uddin 'Helal' ['Helal Abbas' in the past week.
We can arrange to ask the questions today [Thursday 30 September 2010] and shall interview both Councillor Golds and Councillor Abbas on the record so that there is uncontroversial evidence of what we ask them and what they say in reply.

We are asking for this meeting - or meetings- in voluntary compliance with the rules of natural justice and in accordance with all the codes of the professional journalistic organisations and initiatives across the UK and in the world that we subscribe to. On the evidential matter, we assert as party of this communication that we have still not received any answers from either Councillor Golds or Councillor Abbas Uddin Helal ['Helal' Abbas], which we put to them in the period of February 2010 to 30 April 2010. We reiterate that the purpose of our questions is the same as it ever was – to establish the facts and to confirm the evidence and to verify the claims. All of this is part of our efforts for the creation of an accountable and democratic environment in Tower Hamlets and to uphold the values of democracy as universally recognised.
We are part and parcel of the movement for democratic accountability in the East End and beyond and we are asking that the two 'leaders' of the two groups on the Council tell us their full transparent accountable democratic constitutional legal and lawful answers. We are sending this same communication to both Cllr Peter Golds and to Cllr Abbas Uddin ‘Helal’ [Helal Abbas] because we observed and witnessed them attending events together and making statements as part of the campaign against an elected mayor system in Tower Hamlets.
We did this in relation to Cllr Abbas Uddin Helal at more than one event and we particularly witnessed Cllr Golds at one event in March 2010. Our basic question to both these councillors is this: if you had opposed the directly elected mayor system on PRINCIPLE and on the fragility of the claim by supporters of that system in March 2010, what principle ahs changed only because the Returning officer has made a declaration that the referendum as validly held and that ONE SIDE off the REFERENDUM question campaigning got a decisive result as claimed by “Dr” Kevan Collins..
