On 14 September 2010, a man stood on the stage at a venue in the Commercial Road London E1 [in the London borough of Tower Hamlets] and uttered a load of embarrassing words.
The man was on a fantasy trip.
And the audience, although made up of ordinary people, was collected there as part of a fantasy event.
The man was Steve Bullock! The “re-elected” executive mayor in the south London Borough of Lewisham.
He was there in the Commercial Road London E1 on 14 September 2010 to praise Lutfur Rahman who was being paraded in that event as the Official Labour Party candidate for the post of elected executive mayor at the FURTHER expense of democracy in Tower Hamlets.
Steve Bullock was one of the fantasy figures produced on stage to create an atmosphere of Empire Loyalism and Empire Approval for what could only be called as an Aspiring Ethnicity Candidate!
Why?
Because the “audience” was almost entirely non-European. Almost entirely Bangladeshi! No, entirely Seelotee speaking Bangladeshi from Tower Hamlets.
The stage, however, was very odd. Very misleading. Very false.
There was an apparently “appropriately ethnicity-linked” “gender-configured” token participating in the “presentation” but that surface hid an agenda very much offensive to everything that must have been conveyed privately to the assembled individuals about the “importance” and the “relevance” of the staged do!
Item after item of “congratulation” was being heaped on the image of Lutfur Rahman by utterers who appeared to typify a kind of diversity that almost resembled a genuine one. But failed to.
When Steve Bullock spieled, he defied all requirements of objectivity, ethics and integrity in the context of true democracy.
His utterances were insulting to the people before him. But the people had ceased to think far less to think critically. At least their suspension of thought had occurred before they decided to join the assembly.
They sat there and they allowed the fakery to take place.
That fakery included Bullock’s banalities and the display on a big screen of the images of Jim F’patrick and Ken Livingstone and Keith Vaz shown as giving their support to the “official labour Party candidate” .
There were no questions. There was no comment. There was no factual, evidential analysis of the state – let alone the existence – of democracy in Tower Hamlets.
The fakery session was followed by food, provided by what looked like an organised provider who had employed catering staff wearing a noticeable uniform.
Uniformity. Fakery. Suspension of thought!

The banal role by the SOUTH LONDON PRESS in peddling Steve Bullock doing the cuts to the budget and also cutting out what incomplete democratic bits had still ‘survived’ in Lewisham.
Elected executive mayor bans the public from the "public gallery" as Mayor leads the Cuts in Lewisham!
Lewisham council in south London has banned Lewisham people from attending the Council’s cuts budget!
This is according to the “local” SOUTH LONDON PRESS.
The newspaper reports as follows:
“Hundreds of protesters turned up to a council meeting at Lewisham Town Hall on Monday to protest against cuts to the authority's budget.
A total of £16million of savings were agreed, but only one member of the public was allowed in to watch the proceedings. “
However, the South London Press then made matters worse for the public by undemocratically carrying online a load of contradictory promotional utterances the paper introduced as follows:
“Lewisham Mayor Sir Steve Bullock gave a speech before the savings were voted on, which is reproduced below... “
In the “speech” Bullock behaved as a bogus budget-maker as could be expected from the careerist who had begun his [ new, executive mayor term after the latest “election” to that post on 6 May 2010] by openly insulting protesters against the cuts agenda as IDIOTS!
